Honey Lemon Ginger Tea

Ingredients

  • 8 Lemons Wash and cut in halves
  • 1/2-1 Fresh Ginger Skin removed
  • 2 c Brown Sugar
  • 1 qt Honey or Blue Agave

Instructions

  • Boil lemons in 2 qts of water until soft, use a spoon to scoop out the
    seeds.
  • Add ginger and brown sugar then simmer for 1 1/2-2 hrs.
  • Allow time to cool to room temperature.
  • Place in a blender and blend all ingredients until
    smooth.
  • Mesh strainer the mixture into a pitcher.
  • Then add the honey to the pitcher.
  • Store in glass jars in the fridge. 

Notes

It will last 3 months in the refrigerator.
Use 2 to 3 tablespoons to make tea by stirring into a hot cup of water.
