Famous Moms with Irish Twins

Parenting is filled with so many milestones, and it’s always fun when your kiddos are hitting those milestones so close together.

What are Irish twins?

Irish twins are considered to be siblings who are under 12 months of each other in age. We’re stretching that time frame just a little bit for the sake of some celeb babies.

With what seems like a surge in babies these past few months, I seem to keep hearing about celeb couples or famous Moms who are expecting Irish twins. It seems like they are becoming more and more common. Maybe you’ve heard of some of these famous moms who have growing families.

Check out this list of powerhouse women who have amazing careers AND are raising babies so close in age.

1. Pop princess, Britney Spears, welcomed her second son Jayden James just 12 months after the birth of her first, Sean Preston. Her boys were born almost exactly a year apart, they are now 15 and 16 and tower over their Mom in a rare photo of the them on social media.
2. Tori Spelling has 5 kids in her brood and two of them are only 10 months apart. Her daughter, Hattie, was just 10 months old when Finn was born. At the time Tori said, “All my friends keep asking me [if it was planned] and I’m like, ‘Seriously? Hattie was one month old. Do you think it was planned?'” 
3. Kim Zolciak from Real Housewives of Atlanta and her families show, Don’t be Tardy is another celebrity with another big brood. Her four younger kids with husband Kroy, are all close in age. KJ and Kash are just 14 months apart and then the youngest twins were born 15 months later. Her household is definitely a full one!
4. Three time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings is another momma of Irish Twins. Her sons Joseph and Sundance are 12 months apart. Kerri said that she and her husband Casey wanted kids children close together because her and her older brother are just 11 months apart and were such close friends growing up.
5. Pop singer, turned fashion designer Jessica Simpson is another famous mom to have children close in age. Jessica and husband Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell in 2012 and their son was born just 13 months later.
6. Model April Love Geary and her fiance Robin Thicke, have 2 daughters just 12 months apart. They welcomed Mia and Lola in April 2018 and February 2019.

This list is just a glimpse of all those amazing moms out there who are raising Irish twins and looking amazing while doing it. It feels good to know that there are other strong, powerful women out there who are taking it a day at a time as their kiddos hit milestones back-to-back as they grow.
