“We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen is a great story that many activities could be created based on it. We absolutely love the story, and with the current situation here with the Coronavirus parenting including myself have been searching for ideas to do with our children.
About the story:
This classic hand-rhyme tells an engaging story of four children and their father as they embark on a fantasy bear hunt. Using predictable text and rhyme children and adults will be encouraged to actively participate. The illustrations bring the story to life and keep children engaged!
Whether you are exploring a bears theme or just following up after reading the book, check out these bear hunt activities for Pre-Schoolers.

- Don’t forget to mark the following if you wish:

- Have fun with bears by practicing adding and subtracting.

Luke and I read this book one afternoon and I was thinking about all the activities we could incorporate with it. That is how I came about writing this post and creating printables for you to be creative and go on your own bear hunt. If you think of more activities please do share and don’t forget to pin this to Pinterest.
